What do Concrete Cylinder Tests Tell Us?
Compressive strength testing of concrete is a performance check of the mix delivered to the project. The data is useful therefore to ensure the onsite project meets required standards.
Other methodologies

Australian Standard for the measurement of compressive strength of concrete
AS 1012.9 is the Australian Standard for the measurement of compressive strength of concrete. The standard requires that a a100mm diameter x 200mm high concrete cylinder is used in this test. The concrete sample is compacted on-site into the mould. Generally, two samples are taken, and cured to Australian Standards.
